Letter From the Principal
Dear Families,
Thank you for your patience as we work through a challenging situation.   A letter went home today with each family.  If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to call or email.  I continue to be thankful for this wonderful community, and I am especially grateful for the encouraging notes, phone calls, and shout outs during morning carpool. Thank you.
We have many fun events right around the corner.  Please note "this week's events" for more information.
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Many Blessings,
Stacy Tackett

Super Walk-a-thon a Success

News Items/Photo Oct 14, 10 32 02 AM.jpgThe Walk-a-thon committee would like to express appreciation to all of our students, parents, and supporters for another successful walk!  This year, we raised $45,183!  Our top class and winner of the in-class Subway party is 5A with a total of $2,500.  We would also like to recognize our top families:  the Hoskins family (Spencer 8A and Keali 5A), the Boling family (Kylie 5A, Kynslie 1C)), and the Matuszak family (Andrew 3B, Elise 2C).  Students enjoyed entertainment from the Jump Rope Warrior.  And finally, a big thank you to all of our sponsors....we couldn't do it without you!

Girl Scouts Collect Items for Socks of Love

St. Michael Girl Scout troops #715 and #1919 are working together on a service project for the homeless in our area through a program called Socks of Love.
The Troops are providing the socks and will be seeking donations of these new items:

-small sized personal care items (toothbrushes/toothpaste/dental floss/mouthwash/shampoo/deodorant/small bars of soap)
-inexpensive rain ponchos
-knit gloves and hats (no neon colors please)
-disposable razors
-small individual packages/sized low-sugary snacks (peanut butter crackers/granola bars/nuts/raisins)

Boxes labeled "Girl Scout Socks of Love" will be placed in the school and the church to collect your donations.
Our goal is to assemble 240 pairs of these Socks.
Thanks so much for all your help in making our service project a success!
