This event can happen in the commons, however, the last class is not finished eating until 12:30. Understanding 6th hour starts at 12:22, so usage of the commons can start on the stage. Once the last class has completed lunch, the room will be cleaned and then chairs can be set according to the need.

Good morning all,
Over the summer, I took a few conducting lessons from the Assistant Conductor of the Kansas City Symphony, Jason Seber (https://www.kcsymphony.org/conductors/Jason_Seber). During our lessons, he shared with me that he enjoys visiting local schools and has offered to visit us on campus. I am not sure how often we will have the opportunity of somebody of his caliber to visit us at SCA, so I am wondering if we can make a few special accommodations for the day.
He has scheduled his visit to the full Symphonic Orchestra on Monday, November 14th at 1pm.
Mr. Hesman- May I have permission to excuse Allegro Strings from 6th Hour and HS Band from 6th and 7th Hour for the occasion? His visit will be from 1-2pm and I would need the beginning of 6th Hour to warm up the group and get them settled.
Mikki- could we have use of the Elementary Commons for this event? I will need to set up during 6th Hour, and we would need the stage until dismissal at 2:50.
Sarah- could we plan on sending somebody for the event for some photographs?
Mrs. Harrelson- I know that Mr. Seber would love to meet you so I wanted to let you know that we landed a date and time so that if you are able, you can meet him.
Mrs. Sanders- I may have the rehearsal be an "open rehearsal," so that parents and students in my other classes can come in, observe, and meet Mr. Seber. This will depend on the availability of the Elementary Commons, so stay tuned.
Thank you all. It takes a village!
Mrs. Nagy
